Why The Change Collab Exists

We’ve worked in - and supported - workplaces that, on paper, were meant to be places where people and performance thrive. But the reality often told a different story.
  • Inconsistent leadership.
  • Low trust.
  • Poor morale.
  • Avoided conversations and unclear accountability.
The challenge wasn’t a lack of strategy or intent. It was how people were showing up, and the conditions shaping those behaviours every day. Yet most of us are never explicitly taught how to lead well, relate well, or live well at work. And even when development is offered, it’s rarely designed in a way that helps people truly practise, reflect, and grow over time.

We created The Change Collab to change that. Because when workplaces get this wrong, the impact is significant. It shows up in lower retention, disengagement, and performance, and extends into people’s wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self. But when they get it right, work becomes a place where people and performance can truly thrive, together - with a positive ripple effect far beyond the workplace.

As educators and facilitators with experience across sectors and contexts - and formal training in organisational development, leadership, and community development - we’ve seen that this work is needed everywhere.

How We Work

Every collaboration begins with a conversation. We want to understand your goals, challenges, and readiness for change because we’re about transformation, not information, and impact, not tick-box training. Once we’re confident we’re the right fit, we help you identify the service that best meets your goals and needs - from targeted workshops to long-term leadership or team pathways.

From there, Chantelle’s skilled facilitation creates the conditions for meaningful growth: spaces that are both safe and brave, where people can honestly explore, reflect, and practice new ways of leading and relating and grow together.

Our process blends evidence-based learning design, appreciative inquiry, and strengths-based coaching - helping participants build capability, confidence, and connection that last long after the sessions end.

The result? Participants not only learn new skills - they shift mindsets, strengthen relationships, and have agency to shape the systems around them so that positive change is sustained.

All of our services are delivered virtually, because it:
  • Makes development accessible to more people by removing travel and scheduling barriers.
  • Reduces disability-related barriers, ensuring inclusion.
  • Supports wellbeing by allowing staff to join from the environment that works best for them.
  • Offers flexibility to fit the rhythms of work and personal life.
  • Ensures consistency for city and regional staff alike.
  • Reduce environmental impact through lower travel requirements and digital rather than print resources.
Virtual delivery doesn’t mean less impact - our programs are highly interactive, practical, and designed to build real-world skills and behaviours that stick.

Prefer in-person? We’re open to exploring it but virtual is our default because it provides the greatest equity, flexibility, and impact - it's also the most cost effective.
