CHANTELLE KOHN

Facilitator, Change Catalyst, Culture Transformer

Chantelle Kohn (she/her) is a facilitator, educator, and systems thinker with over 15 years’ experience in leadership development, culture change, and social impact across the non-profit, corporate, government, and education sectors.

Known for her warm-but-direct approach, Chantelle helps people make sense of complexity, build trust and connection, and create meaningful, lasting change - in both their personal and professional lives.

Before founding The Change Collab, Chantelle served as a Director of Learning and Development for a global NFP, leading facilitator training programs across Australia, Canada, the USA, and Brazil. She also designed and delivered leadership and culture-building workshops for organisations in Sydney, Brisbane, New York, San Francisco, and Toronto, and played a key role in expanding the NFP into new regions.

More recently, Chantelle has collaborated with the Queensland Department of Education and Central Queensland University to co-create a framework and professional learning modules that build educator capability for global competence. She has also lectured in the Bachelor of Education program and worked as a Research Assistant at CQUniversity, and is a DEIB Coach and Facilitator with Hone HQ.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from The University of Queensland and a Master of International and Community Development from Deakin University. She has undertaken further studies in Emotional Intelligence (Yale University), Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), Organisational Development Coaching (Symbiosis), and Deep Diversity Leadership (Anima Leadership).

At her core, Chantelle believes that when people strengthen the human capabilities that help them lead well, relate well, and live well, we create cultures - and communities - where everyone can thrive, together. And that's the change she wants to help create in this world.

When she’s not facilitating culture change, you’ll likely find Chantelle dancing at live music events, getting lost in a good book, exploring different cultures throughout the world (40 countries and counting), or spending time outdoors with loved ones.

RYAN MATTHEWS

Educator, Project Manager and Organiser

Ryan brings together a rare mix of technical precision, creative problem-solving, and people-first leadership. His career has spanned multiple sectors, giving him a uniquely holistic understanding of how people and systems work best together, and why strengthening human capability is essential to creating workplaces people are proud to be part of.

From teaching and biomedical workshops to managing large-scale live events, Ryan’s career has always been about connection - understanding what people need and designing the systems and support to help them thrive. At The Change Collab, he brings that same precision, empathy, and operational mastery to everything he does.

He’s the engine room of our work: designing systems that hum, projects that flow, and experiences that land. A natural bridge between people and process, Ryan ensures every program - from leadership pathways to large-scale culture initiatives - runs with clarity, care, and impact. He’s the steady hand and strategic mind behind the scenes, translating big ideas into practical systems, processes, and experiences that deliver real results.

Before joining The Change Collab, Ryan worked as a Biomedical Technician, ensuring hospital departments had the systems, equipment, and cross-functional coordination they needed to keep operations running safely and smoothly. Prior to that, he was a Production Manager in Toronto, managing more than 200 live event projects for organisations including the Liberal Party of Canada, Scotiabank, Coca-Cola, the University of Toronto, the Canadian Opera Company, and Creative Destruction Lab. Earlier in his career, Ryan worked as an educator - known for creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences that stick - a skillset he continues to bring to our programs today.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from QUT and a Certificate III in Electronics and Communication (Biomedical Technology). When he’s not optimising workflows or fine-tuning our tech stack, you’ll find him chasing triathlon goals, catching live music, or creating travel videos for Rytelle Roams alongside Chantelle.

Let’s start the conversation.

Lead Well. Relate Well. Live Well
