Chantelle Kohn, Founder and Director

Educator, Facilitator, Change-maker

 

Chantelle is an educator, facilitator and change-maker with over 15 years' of leadership development experience within the non-profit, corporate, government and education sectors. She is passionate about helping others develop the human competencies to transform our communities and create a better society for all. Previously, as a Director of Learning and Development, Chantelle designed and implemented training programs for facilitator teams in Australia, Canada, USA and Brazil. She was also the lead facilitator for corporate training workshops, building leadership skills in companies located in Sydney, Brisbane, New York, San Francisco, and Toronto. When Chantelle moved to Toronto, she established the Canadian entity of an Education NFP and supported the set-up of new entities in the U.S.A and Brazil. 
 
Recently, Chantelle has collaborated with the Qld Department of Education and Central Queensland University to support the creation of resources, including a framework and training modules, designed to build capacity in educating for global competence. She is also a casual lecturer for the B.Ed program and Research Assistant at CQUniversity and a designated DEIB Coach/Facilitator for Hone HQ. Chantelle has presented and been a panellist at various conferences in Australia and Canada. Chantelle has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from the University of Queensland and a Masters in International and Community Development from Deakin University. She has also participated in Yale’s Centre for Emotional Intelligence ‘Institute for District and School Leaders’ and Anima Leadership’s ‘Deep Diversity: Leadership Skills for an Inclusive School.’ When Chantelle isn’t facilitating, she spends her time dancing at live music events, getting lost in books, travelling (40 countries and counting), and enjoying outdoor adventures with loved ones.

Ryan Matthews, Ops Legend

Educator, Project Manager and Organiser

 

Ryan handles all things ‘technical’ for The Change Collab. His work in education, live events and healthcare provide a unique skill set to support our ongoing operations.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) and a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications. He is a qualified BioMedical Technician and has 4 years experience project managing audio, visual and lighting for live events. When Ryan isn’t diving into logistics he loves getting stuck into a great meal, attending live music events, travel and training for triathlons.
